"Whole or particle cast iron auto or truck engines. Transmissions may not be attached. Can also be called auto rotors and drums with plastic bare engine blocks. Examples: Car rotors, brake drums, & engine blocks without the pistons & crank."

No.2 Cast Iron

Coil or old water piping, castings or plates from machinery. This also includes Household cast iron items like cast iron bathtubs, stoves, sinks, old fireplace grates and radiators.

ACSR Wire

Thick Aluminum wire.

Aluminum Cans

Free of foil/tin/plastic/liquid/ garbage/etc. Can be crushed or whole.

Aluminum Extrusion

Extruded aluminum without other materials or metals attached (non-magnetic). Must not contain other alloys of aluminum and be free of zinc corners, iron attachments, felt, plastic, paper, cardboard, and thermo break.

Aluminum Rims

Aluminum rims without the lead wheel weight, valve stem or tire. Free of rubber tire/dirt/attachments. Free of Lead Wheel Weights and valve stems.

Aluminum Sheet

Non-magnetic sheets of aluminum, without other materials or metals attached. No plastic/steel/glass/dirt on the material.

Aluminum Siding

Clean aluminum siding without screws, other metals or materials attached. Window Frame, Aluminum Siding, that has been painted. Free of plastic coating, iron, dirt, corrosion, fiber, foam, or fiberglass backing or other non-metallic items.

Aluminum Turnings

Aluminum turnings (produced from drilling holes in holes in aluminum) without other materials or metals. The excess from machine cut aluminum free of oil or steel.

Bare Bright Copper

14 gauge or thicker Bright copper wire free of solder, paint, or other materials/metals. Bare, uncoated, unalloyed copper wire free of attachments. All the insulation has been removed from the wire and it is free of solder and paint. Bare bright wire should not have any plastic on it and should never be burned.

Batteries

No holes, battery intact. Labeled "PB" on fine print. The most common place you can find a lead battery is in a car.

Brass-Dirty

Yellow or Red Brass that has other metals or materials attached.

Brass-Red

Red brass scrap, valves, machinery bearings and other machinery parts, including miscellaneous castings made of copper, tin, zinc, and/or lead.

Brass-Yellow

Mixed Brass castings, taps, valves, rod brass, chrome plated brass.

Car Bodies/Junk Vehicles

"Complete vehicles only. A vehicle that has the radiator, battery, catalytic converter, motor, transmission, wheels and tires. **All vehicles must have a clean title, or junking certificate.**"

Communication Wire

CAT 5/6, Data wire, Insulated copper with plastic. Very thin copper wire. Examples: Telephone wires.

Copper - No.1 Clean

14 gauge or thicker bare copper wire or copper pipes without solder or fittings. May also include uncoated, bare, unalloyed copper pipe/bus bar without any attachments. The pipe must be free of paint, solder, corrosion, or brass fittings attached to the pipe to be considered #1 copper.

Copper - No.1 Coated

14 gauge or heavier copper wire with coating or insulation left on. Typically 65% and greater recovery Examples: Aluminum signs

Copper - No.2 Clean

Copper wire less than 14 gauge with no coating or copper pipes with solder or fittings. Bare, uncoated, unalloyed copper wire. All the insulation has been removed from the wire. May have some solder and paint.

Copper - No.2 Coated

Thinner than 14-gauge copper wire with insulation (coating) Typically 45% to 55% recovery.

Electric Motors

Various sizes of electric motors that are copper-wound without heavy steel attachments (pumps, bases, loose iron).

Lead-Wheel Weights

Lead Wheel Weights and valve stems.

Prepared 3ft

1/4" or thicker steel/iron cut into 36" x 18" or smaller pieces. Example: Steel rims (*without lead wheel weights or the valve stem).

Radiators- Copper/Brass

Clean aluminum radiators (without other materials or metals attached). Clean aluminum radiators and condensers free of other types of radiators.

Radiators-Copper/Aluminum

Clean Copper & Aluminum Radiators with no other materials or metals attached such as brass, iron or plastic.

Radiators-Dirty

Copper/Aluminum or Copper/Brass Radiators with other metals or materials still attached.

Stainless Steel

Must not stick to a magnet, have steel or other items attached

Stainless Steel-Dirty

Consists of Non-magnetic stainless steel but allows for small percentages of plastic and contaminants. Must be at least 50% stainless steel. Example: Stainless kitchen knives with wood or plastic handle.

Tin/Dirty Motors

Types of tin and steel accepted for metal recycling.

Unprepared

Types of unprepared steel and iron accepted for metal recycling.
